For my Sports Writing and Reporting class, this piece is a feature story about Goanar Mar, a men's basketball player at George Mason who played a critical role during his freshman season in fueling the Patriots to a fifth-place finish during the 2017-18 Atlantic 10 regular season.

The Washington Wizards hosted the Charlotte Hornets on March 31 in a game which saw the return of Wizards star point guard John Wall, who had been sidelined for 27 games due to a left knee injury. The franchise guard notched his 17th double-double of the season and led the Wizards to a 107-93 playoff-clinching win.

As costs to attend movie theater screenings continue to soar, audiences are likely to select a showtime based on a theater's seating and food offerings. Residents of Northern Virginia were welcomed to a new option when an Alamo Drafthouse cinema opened at Stonebridge's Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, Va. in June of 2018.

Often times when listening to certain kinds of music, one may feel a sense of "chills" but not know exactly why. It turns out, this phenomenon is known as “frisson,” a French term meaning “pleasurable aesthetic chills,” and according to a recent study, differences in personality seem to make certain music listeners more susceptible to this sensation than others.
